The course covers every aspect of riding a machine. Here is a brief summary:
Off Road section:
Eyesight test and safety talk
Learning the daily and weekly checks and machine controls
Pull away and stop under control
Left and right turns
Slow riding
Figure of eight
Controlled Stop
important talk on road safety and what is expected on the road
On Road section:
Minimum of two hours road work to make sure competent on the road. This will
cover:
Roundabout
Traffic Lights
Junctions
Pedestrian Crossings
Hills
Bends
General riding and road conditions.
Once the standard is achieved a CBT certificate (DL196) will be issued. This
will be valid for two years
What You Need:
You require a valid full or provisional driving license to do a course. We can
supply all equipment: helmets, jackets, gloves, waterproofs
Times Courses start at 08.00 and finish approx 16.00, 7 days a week.



A1 - Light
Motorcycle Licence
The A1 license allows drivers of 17 years of age and older to drive a
motorcycle of up to 125cc. A valid CBT and theory test are required for the A1 license. The A1
does not expire and entitles the rider to ride without learner plates, carry a
passenger and ride on motorways.
Times are 08.00-16.00 each day apart from on test day
This is a 3 - 5 day course depending upon experience and ability, with the
training tailored to the individual.
3 DAY COURSE WILL BE 3 FULL DAYS TRAINING AND
TEST ON THE 4TH DAY.
4 DAY COURSE WILL BE 4 FULL DAYS TRAINING AND
TEST ON THE 5TH DAY.
5 DAY COURSE WILL BE 5 FULL DAYS TRAINING AND
TEST ON THE 6TH DAY.
PLEASE NOTE TEST DAY TRAINING IS FREE.

A2 - Standard
Motorcycle Licence
EACH DAY YOUR TRAINING WILL START WITH A CLASSROOM
BRIEFING THEN ON SITE TRAINING ON OUR PURPOSE BUILT TRAINING AREA, BEFORE
VENTURING ON THE ROADS, RETURNING TO THE TRAINING CENTRE AT 16.00, FOR COFFEE
AND A CHAT.
As with the A1 license, the A2 is for drivers over the age of 17, and also
requires the rider to have a valid CBT certificate and theory test. Also known as a Restricted
license, the A2 allows riders to ride without learner plates, carry passengers
and ride on the motorway. The A2 allows riders to ride bikes of any size (cc)
and does not expire. However, for the first 2 years after completing the A2, the
rider is only allowed to ride a motorcycle that has been mechanically restricted
to 33 Brake Horse Power. Most motorcycles can be restricted by reputable garages
for a reasonable cost.
